Juvéderm Facial Fillers in Walsall
Juvéderm is a non-invasive facial rejuvenation treatment giving your skin a natural and more youthful look. Facial fillers are generally used to smooth away wrinkles around the eyes and lips but they are also used to restore volume to your cheeks, or add definition to the chin and jawline
Juvéderm uses a natural ingredient called Hyaluronic Acid (HA) which is a natural occurring sugar found in the human skin and connective tissues. Hyaluronic Acid acts like a moisturiser giving the skin its elasticity and tone but as we age our skin produces less HA leaving it dry and thin.
Facial fillers can fill areas like sunken temples and lose skin under and around the eyes. It is also used to enhance the curve around the cheekbones as well as add fullness to your lips or create more definition around the chin.
Juvéderm is widely used facial filler product with over 26 million treatments that have been carried out. It is safe with long lasting effects and well known for it’s natural appearance and exceptionally smooth consistency.
After consulting with our dentist, the procedure is relatively quick and straight forward with actual treatment time lasting only 10 minutes. The fillers are administered with a fine needle to the designated facial areas just under the skin. Juvéderm already contains a local anesthetic to help reduce the sting from the needle so there is very little discomfort during the application process.
Are There Any Side Effects?
After treatment some individuals may experience slight redness around the injected areas but this reduces quickly. Juvéderm facial fillers can last up to 9 months but this is dependent upon the individuals skin texture, wrinkle depths or skin type. Juvéderm will fade overtime but you can choose to have further treatments if you wish to continue looking young.
